Ribera del Duero

One of Spain’s truly legendary wine making region, is Ribera del Duero in Central Spain, which is home to some of the worlds best and most exclusive red wines. 120 km just north of Madrid, Ribera del Duero is a land of extremes with biting cold winters and hot summers at high altitude. Tinto Fino is the local Tempranillo grape which makes up 95 percent of all wine production.
Bold reds with intensity and balance and blended with small quantities of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Granacha, Malbec or Merlot, give the wines powerful fruit flavours with woody notes.
Wine has been made here since Roman times and today the region is know for outstanding quality and good value.
