Château Jouclary
The Jouclary history goes back as far as 1530, when Guilhaume de Jouclary was the Consul of Carcassonne. Only one daugther of the Jouclary family survives today and sadly with that the family lineage will have died. Today, the château is owned by Robert and Pascal Gianesini and run as a family business, which is completely dedicated to satisfying its customer base with their exceptionally good wines. Jouclary nestles on the southern slopes of the Cabardes region, facing the Montagne Noir and enjoying a Mediterranean as well as Atlantic climate.
