Aromatic, with good weight and concentration of fruit , retaining freshness with a crisp tang of lime.
Piercarlo Bergaglio - Piedmont
A small family run 15 hectare estate, they produce excellent Gavi as well as wonderful red with real finesse. Their Dolcetto grows well on the lesser sites and ripens 10-14 days earlier than the Barbera, which enables them to stagger their vinification. Dolcetto is an easy drinking wine whereas the Barbera is perfect for more richer food.
